About Dr. Mandelbaum's Clinical Practice
The World Renowned Surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute
Bert Mandelbaum is a wearer of many hats: Husband, Author, Runner, Researcher,
Cyclist, Father and Liver-of-Life-to-the-Fullest. While each of these
titles adds colorful brush strokes to his life's canvas, the largest
brush is quite possibly the one by which most of the others have been
made possible: SURGEON.
He is also the Co-Chair of Medical Affairs for the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe
Institute in Los Angeles.
In his daily clinical endeavors at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute,
Dr. Mandelbaum focuses his scope of practice on the care and treatment
of people suffering from conditions affecting the knee. This specialization
in Knee Surgery includes concentration on the Anterior Cruciate Ligament
(ACL) and all ligament issues, cartilage and meniscal transplantation,
which may include regenerative techniques such as stem cell therapy, Platelet
Rich Plasma (PRP) and all orthobiologic alternatives. The institute also
conducts clinical studies and trials focusing on state of the art innovations
and technologies.
